Why this is possible

Every time an electric car is charged, value is created: the government counts that power as renewable energy for transport. You cannot collect that value yourself, only a registration service provider with an account at the Dutch Emissions Authority can. EEVY is signed up with the NEa as registration service provider. Our account is in application.

Why we need 200 connections

To start officially, we first have to show that we represent enough charge points: at least 200. Sign the authorisation and you are one of the first to join, without costs and without obligations. For home charging a MID meter is required. The only exception is a connection used exclusively for charging. Separately, the first 200 connections (EANs) get 4.9% commission in the first calendar year.

What to expect in the coming months

Our account with the Dutch Emissions Authority is in application. Once it is open, we will register your charging power. After each sale we pay 90% straight away. An independent verifier checks the registration yearly, after which the last 10% follows.

We register charging from 2026 in one go in early 2027 and sell it in the first quarter of 2027. We therefore expect the first payout in spring 2027, depending on how quickly the Dutch Emissions Authority opens our account.
